Healthy veggie habits in your kids



This is one of the most common struggle mothers face today of getting kids eat vegetables. Most of the kids would not like the site of veggie soup or dish made out of them. They just cannot stand anything green so how do mothers get them eating the healthy dietary habits. Given below are some of the funny things you can make and serve to your kids to get their interests in eating what you want them to eat:

  • The presentation

    It is one of the most important factors for the kids to accept their food. As much as it sounds appealing, they will try and eat it as soon as possible.  You can make use of colorful healthy vegetables like sliced bell peppers, red tomatoes, cucumber, carrot sticks to make it look funny by making faces on the dish and decorating them over the brown rice you have prepared.   • The Routine is important

    Once they start having vegetables in their meals, make it a daily habit. Do not let them break this routine of having salads and boiled vegetables in their meals. Make at least one serving compulsory on a daily basis. Gradually, they will start liking the taste and would prefer to eat only veggies some day.
