Stimulate your child’s senses naturally



Most of the parents get worried about their child’s growth, whether they would be a positive individuals or not. The day child is born; you can start with smaller things like building their connection to nature. Nature is the most positive way; a child can connect to and live in a harmony world. Taking them for your daily walks will help them connect and they will see outside world in a very positive manner. See them perked up while they listen to the sounds of nesting birds, its all a melody for them after all. As you take them to the serene lake, they will get the feeling of vastness and peace. Let them enjoy the scenic beauty of sunrise and nearby mountainous areas. As they grow and start understanding things, show them the importance of healthy living, by eating positive foods and exercising on a daily basis. Teach them the names of different plants and animals and what are their processes. Your child nurtures in the direction you take them, so make sure they are developed in a very positive environment.

Outside the house, they will get an altogether a different taste of another world. Let them enjoy the chirping birds, the sounds of insects around them and melodious singing of the spring birds. While you think of all this, picturize a perfect environment where your child is getting positive vibrations of nature. Let your child enjoy the smell of flowers, take toddler steps on the grass, come on, they are not going to catch any type of diseases by walking over the grass but be always attentive to them. You can help them pick up a flower, if they really want to. Make them enjoy the color of flower and learn about it.   • Start with your own garden:

    plant good number of flowers and vegetables in your garden, this is surely going to stimulate your child’s inner senses. Let them enjoy the fresh smell of flowers, mint, grass and other naturally grown plantations. They are surely going to love the sight of spring flowers so make sure that you plant them in maximum. Infants like to play with colors and the colorful sight in your garden neatly encourages them. Do not force them to do anything, do it yourself and see them follow suit. Babies like to imitate and they enjoy that experience. No sooner than they will start exploring on its own and would tell you about their experiences.

  • A healthy snack:

    from the very phase they are growing, make sure that you let your child know that they will eat what you give him. Be very soft spoken while you tell them this. Once when they start eating full-fledged, you can enjoy together a healthy breakfast and share the mutual bond. Show them the importance of eating and living healthy. Give them the chance to explore on their own, even if that means you packing them bread and cheese to the nearby mountain. Enjoy the picnic time together with your child.

  • Sight the natural:

    your child is anyway going to spot the small creatures on the ground before you do. Make your child understand the type of an insect; you can name them to enjoy calling them the next time. Encourage your child to say good morning to the insect that will help them get closer to other living beings. Have healthy discussions of plants and animals with your child and let them open up to their feelings as well.

  • Sense it:

    make your child understandable of things just by feeling them, first by seeing it and then later by guessing it. This will not only improve your child’s capability to differentiate between different textures but also develop his sense of touch. You can experiment by gathering grass, sticks and stones in your hat and letting your child also do the same and later asking them to guess each item in the hat without seeing them. Sit in an open environment just to feel the fresh air passing by and let them imitate your actions, some how get them close to nature.

  • Magical wind sounds:

    your child will enjoy even more the touch of cool breeze and the whispering sounds of the winds. Let them watch how the natural cycle works, how the breeze flows, dashing to trees and the sounds made by trees. Help them touch the cool waters of the lake nearby and teach them practical lessons wherever they visit.

Get your kids involved in natural dwelling right from the day they start understanding things, or even when they are toddlers. The wonderful experiences they have as a child goes long way in building their future and growing in positive individuals.
