Holding your toddler
Babies are going to be always babies at least for the time they are big enough to start walking and understanding things. After a while of pampering your baby some parents feel that they should not have been holding their babies now as much as they did early. But, I am sorry to break your thinking here. It is largely a misconception. Your baby needs you to hold them as much as you used to do it earlier. As your baby grows, they start understanding new things, explore more things on their own, try to speak with them, the language you speak. For some time, your baby needs some type of assurance that whatever they are doing, who ever they are going, they are going to be safe. When you hold them, they are confident enough that nothing ever can happen to them. When they start growing and understanding [...]

Taking baby out of the house
I must say it’s a much challenging task than we usually think of, new moms are more than anxious to get prepared everything before they leave their house. There are varied questions which spring up in your mind, like packing enough of nappies, formula milk with bottles, extra clothing for them and other necessary items. It becomes a little difficult for a mom to leave the house with two or three babies. Some mothers ideally feel they are under house arrest when they deliver their babies for the next 3-4 months. The similar feelings your baby has as well, as you can see how they enjoy their outside surroundings when they are out with you.
Over time you will realize that you can actually take all your three babies out with of course experience and special learning that your babies give you [...]

Slings responsible for infant deaths
Lots of kids have been dying and there is no special reason known except for the fact that 1 million slings have been recalled after rampant increase in infantry deaths. That is the main reason why Infanito has called for a free replacement program for their product called as “Sling Rider” and “Wendy Bellissimo”, these are the products which were made in cooperation with CPSC (Consumer product safety commission). Around one million such slings were sold alone in United States and around 15,000 in Canada.
After detailed reports and analysis, slings are the main causes of infants as they can suffocate children. There have been reports from CPSC that caused infant deaths, the 2009 reports states from Philadelphia, Salem, Cincinnati where three to seven months old have died due to the [...]

Baby Baths, breastfeeds and sleeping patterns
Most of the mothers are more than anxious when talked about feeding their babies. Now, there are two options one is breastfeeds and one are formula feeds. Some working mothers being conscious of feeding their baby breast milk express them and refrigerate it for later use. Its healthy and most of the mothers are expressing their milk to corner on the commitments at their offices and even for their babies. You can find more information in the Breastfeeding in my blog. For each breastfeed you do to your baby, you are connecting to your baby and you create that bond which makes your baby closer to you. As you get in to feeding ritual with your baby, remember that you talk to your baby softly while feeding him. Do not jump from breastfeed to formula feeds just for a day or two, if you decide to [...]

Baby’s Sensibilities
As the way we sense our babies by holding or cuddling them, they feel for us the similar way. Your baby can feel the senses right from the very first day of they being born. Remember, how your baby started crying, sensing some rough material or distasteful food given to them. The daily events like bathing your baby, cleaning them, feeding, wrapping them around the blanket and cuddling would bring you and your baby closer. You might want to know the real fact that your baby has powerful sensory elements in-built in them to realize themselves what is good for them.
Well, you might be a little surprised knowing this but yes, your baby can sense as much as your capabilities to sense. Your baby may even be more receptive in choosing what they like or what they do not like. Babies love to feel [...]

A Four month baby
Your baby is almost four months and you are happily enjoying your motherhood, what better gift you can ask for? Your smiling baby is all it takes to make your day hale and hearty. This is the month where you find your baby is changing, you can see more plays during the day time and even more sleeps during the night time. Your child may be willing to play all around the place on its own but might not have achieved free mobility as yet. Every growing day of your child, shows you some signs that your baby is achieving a milestone in his or her age. Your baby might now be more sociable and be even more ready to strike upon a cooing conversation with you at any time of the day or night. As the child grows they become more aware about their surroundings and be able to recognize the things that belong [...]

Understand your baby well
Although your baby may start cooing around with different consonants it wouldn’t take more than a year before your baby speaks out that first word. As the time moves further, you will start noticing that your baby is talking to you in more ways than one; by two years they will start framing words into phrases and later jump on making sentences. You might have noticed, since the time your child spelled out consonants in their second month, they communicate with varieties of ways and now when you closely look at it they are already trying to speak to you with different gestures and behavior.
There is no fixed guide to understand the language your baby speaks, the only tool you have to make use of is by understanding him or her through nonverbal communication. Observing your child keenly [...]

Talking to baby
The very first thing parents expect from a baby is to start communicating with them. There are some who start out early while there are some who take a milestone in developing their communication skills. The best you can do and understand from your baby is to SELF-START on your own and here are a few points helping you start early communication with baby:
Ask questions: you need not wait until the day your baby starts having answers for your questions. You can do a little bit of self-talk by asking them questions whether, which color clothes they would like to wear red or blue? Or what shall they have for dinner, pasta or a pizza? It’s obvious that you are not going to get any answer except a sweet glance from your baby. Pause for a while and answer it yourself “pasta” loudly and [...]

Baby concerns
Your baby is already into his/her second month and if you are still worried whether why your baby is not smiling or cooing around, its time that you understand that each baby is a marvel in its own right and you cannot forcibly make them do something only because other babies of the same age are doing. Some babies are fast to learn and grow while others are not, that does not mean they are lesser in any stance. Like we have different programming languages that give us the same output at the end, similar is the case with babies, they are different in their own unique ways but at the end everyone will grow to almost similar capabilities. Below are some very common concerns parents are worried about:
The smile of your baby
Not all babies have smiling faces when they are born, some develop their [...]
