So you are all set, to invite the new member in your family, you really didn’t realize where the time just flew by; perhaps nine months were too short a time. Enjoying the feeling of baby in your tummy is something only mothers can describe or even they might not have any words to describe their joys. The transition period of aspiring as a mother, or being pregnant – all the have’s and have not’s for nine months really made your life a beautiful phase to pass through. Suddenly you feel so important and so wanted by your family members, a baby in a family brings lots of happiness, expectation, desires, joys and the best of all bringing a family bond which ties all the members of a family together.
Nine months in to pregnancy makes you aware about the hardships your mother went through, while bringing you in to this world – they aren’t necessarily hardships, but yes, it requires lots of dedication and willingness to do each and everything possible to bring up your child. As your baby grows internally, you as a person change, as they say there are 3 lives to women, the one when she is born, another one when she gets married and the 3rd when she becomes a mother. Playing a mother’s role is most crucial for a woman in her life, all nine months just passed in caring, pampering yourself and those nausea feeling in the mornings, with bout of vomits, etc. it was seriously an experience of your life, isn’t it? The D-day is coming closer, and have you really come to terms that you are going to become a MOTHER? Of course, you might say, but there are lots of things you need be taking care of your baby especially in your baby’s first developmental year.
As much importance is given into 9 months of your pregnancy, the similar type of care needs to be taken for the next 9 to 12 months. The main role of a mother starts after the delivery of the baby; this is the growing stage for mothers as well as the child. Your baby’s development depends on the food you eat, the cleanliness you keep at home, the type of products you use for your baby including the soap, oils, baby foods, etc. the first year of your baby would be the most busiest days of your life as you cater to changing your baby’s nappies, cleaning your babies often and enjoying the newly built bond. The starting one year is developing stage for your baby as well as you as a mother, the transition period may sound tough at first but as you become aware of your baby needs, you delve yourself in that environment.
